You offer your competent support in planning, setting, and agreeing on reliable production plans, and help us remain successful by taking an active role in the work to improve Net Working Capital and service through stock availability. Furthermore, you participate in the demand planning process by preparing forecasts based on statistical review and close interaction with other functions within Coromant.
By planning and following up on inventory and production volume on an 18-month rolling time horizon, you find ways to optimize our supply paths in collaboration with other parts of the organization. You support the handling of our products life cycles and footprint changes within the planning area, which includes scenarios for ramp-ups, introductions, and phase-outs of our products. In collaboration with the rest of the team, you use your knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm to take part in the continuous improvement work around Supply Chain Planning and contribute to developing our next generation planning solutions based on our new platform.
You’re seated in Sandviken, and we offer great flexibility when it comes to working remotely. Some global travel is normally included in the job.

Your profile
We’re looking for a Supply Chain professional with hands-on experience from supply chain and S&OP; planning, as well as materials management and inventory control. We believe you have experience of working in a similar environment. An additional background from leading projects within change management as well as experience from digitalization projects within supply chain is also desirable. You know how to handle different scenarios and changes, especially when it comes to lead time, EOQ and safety stocks. You’re an expert user of modern ERP systems and you manage Excel and Access comfortably. We believe that you hold a university degree in the supply chain or logistics area, and, as we act on the global arena, you also need to be fluent in written and verbal English.

Your personality truly matters! Above having the ability to generate business value from repeating metrics and patterns, we genuinely appreciate your soft skills. You’re an analytical person with a detailed and problem-solving approach, who is both skilled at, and enjoy working with change management. You’re resourceful and self-motivated with a high focus on time management. You’re also an appreciated team player – skilled at collaborating, connecting with people, and establishing new relations with people from diverse cultures. You know how to communicate and convey information in a clear way that your stakeholders easily can grasp. Add a solid passion for development and improvement – and you’re home – welcome to us!

Visa mindre

About you
It’s key that you have experience from working close to production, and with supply, to genuinely understand production challenges and possibilities, and you combine this with strong skills in change management and indirect leadership. We place great value on your personal qualities. You easily motivate and energize yourself and, by living as you learn, you influence others to act on implementing change. By meeting different people on their own level, and by being a skilled communicator and problem-solver, you create relationships based on trust and respect. You have a humble approach when supporting and coaching colleagues, and you use your analytical and structured skills to work things all the way through in a timely manner.

Organizational skills, resourcefulness and dynamic leadership are your keys to success in this mission. With a structured yet agile approach, you drive and support us through change, and you deliver timely results according to plan. Your broad horizon enables you to keep track of activities and, at the same time, identify bottlenecks, gaps and success factors. Generating a culture of open communication and knowledge sharing between our stakeholders
Strong persuasion and influencing skills that builds confidence in decision making
Being data driven

Your background and characteristics
For this position, we’re looking for someone with a management consultancy background and with several years’ experience from working in an industrial setting, preferably in a line management position. You’re also a strong business developer, and previous experience from driving business transformation – including leading a digital journey - is very beneficial. To be successful in this position, you need to be highly skilled in performance program management, including the tools and methods used in this line of work. In addition, we see that you have an academic background relevant to this position, and as we act on a global scale, you have good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

We truly value the way you combine your analytical mind with a holistic and practical view - enabling you to understand the challenges we face and to set a direction that is beneficial for the entire organization. You’re a pragmatic problem-solver with excellent communication and motivation skills. You influence others and possess the courage to initiate change, and this means you get things done in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You easily get people and stakeholders onboard, and as you build confidence in visions, strategies and tactical decisions, you lead the organization towards a more sustainable and flexible way of working.
