About the job
In this role, you’re responsible for our processes, IT security and business continuity, and you manage the backlog for the common area of solutions. You gather, detail and prioritize demands – always making sure that IT security is on top of mind with all stakeholders. You take responsibility for the application security roadmap and ensure a cost-efficient implementation of new functionalities and make sure to communicate around releases as well as new or changed functions in a way that make sense to all. Acting as owner, you coordinate and secure that the platform, systems and data-sources are aligned and support business processes and customer needs.
Your job also includes driving the collaboration of shared areas with one of our sister divisions where you facilitate and motivate change and implement the chosen development of new features. At the end of the day, you act as a kind of project lead with knowledge and focus on IT security, handling changes by both driving and implementing them to drive a secure and user-friendly platform!
The team and most stakeholders are based in our headquarters in Sandviken so this is where this position is ideally located.
About you
For this job, we need someone with an overall business understanding and experience from IT process management, ideally from Sandvik Coromant processes, perhaps you have a background in IT security or project management. You have knowledge in infrastructure and a genuine interest and curiosity in IT security. To be successful in your job, it’s good to know, and be comfortable, working with agile methods, Azure, Azure DevOps and GitHub Advanced Security. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent English skills.

Your Role

Background:
The decision to list SMT on the Nasdaq stock exchange and separate SMT from Sandvik as an independent company requires a separation of IT from Sandvik and a transition of IT services to the new listed SMT company.
The centrally managed network services consist of brand new SDWAN in 20 countries in 51 locations and Local area network Sweden with support for, among other things, Sweden's second largest industrial area in a multivendor environment. Primarily, the local networks in sites outside Sweden will be managed by the new Country IT-organization with the support of the central IT department

About the job
The purpose of the position is to be the point of contact for all central WAN & LAN services provided by the new central IT organization. Agreements with third-party suppliers are established to handle the day-to-day operations.
You will support and cooperate with the Country IT organizations to get a complete WAN & LAN overview and be the driving force of developing and modernizing the area.
In this position you will be responsible for managing, defining and delivering clearly defined WAN & LAN services that enable customers to understand service offerings.
Continuous improvement and automation of operations will also be a part of the job, as well as acting as the point of contact for suppliers and internal functions utilizing the services.
You have an essential role in serving as the point of escalation and collecting feedback and requirements from customers and other stakeholders.
What you will do:
Cooperate and building relations with other IT department and IT personnel.
Identifying customer needs and translating them into services.
Managing and prioritize between new projects and new demands.
Lead the development of the WAN & LAN services portfolio by creating, packaging and defining the services.
Establish financial, business and pricing models for the services in scope.
Work with vendors and suppliers and ensure supplier performance and follow up service reporting metrics, budget and improvement plans according to agreed SLAs.
Acting as point of escalation for operational issues affecting the services


Who you are:
We are looking for someone with a university degree in IT or similar work experience who can
manage multiple stakeholders with varying levels of maturity and requirements. In this role you are expected to be collaborative, strategic and able to utilize existing capabilities internally and externally to take us to the new target operating model in the new company.

You are a person who is not afraid to get into technical discussions and help Network projects/demands to a certain level using solution architects, engineers and operators. You are self-organized, structured, have good communication and social skills, have good Swedish and English skills, verbal and written. Some travel and willingness to adjust working hours is needed.

Minimum of 4 plus years of experience in service management role, preferably in Network area.
Experience and good knowledge of network areas such as physical and wireless local area networks, firewalls, network segmentations, network transports.
Understanding of ITIL service management and operational activities needed to uphold a service.
Ability to coordinate and manage global changes and initiatives
