About your job
In this position, you manage business controlling activities within the production unit, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance. You evaluate the unit's financial performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, automation, and efficiency enhancements through the utilization of the ERP system. Providing financial insights and recommendations to guide decision-making, such as investment opportunities and resource allocation, is part of your job.
Also included in your job is to:
Work closely with production unit management to develop and execute financial strategies that support the production unit's objectives and contribute to overall company goals.
Implement robust controls and ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, mitigating risks and safeguarding assets.
Prepare and validate business cases and investment proposals.
Be a super user for the finance and business control function in SAP S4/Hana.

The location for this position is Sandviken, and some travel to Stockholm is part of this job.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent experience gained from work experience. You have several years' experience in Finance and Business controlling, as well as exceptional skills in SAP S4/Hana. It's beneficial to have experience from ERP implementations or process development. Acting in a global environment calls for fluency in English and Swedish.
You're innovative with a profound business acumen and comfortable in making decisions and driving change. With your strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you enjoy collaborating with others through professional networks across our business.

About the job
In this position, you proactively support the Business Control Function for the Business Unit Solid Round Tools as well as the Global Sales Business Control Function within Sandvik Coromant. Your main focus is to undertake business control duties that contribute to reach the overall operational and financial goals for the respective organizations and support the execution of key activities and ensure performance according to expectations.
You act as a business partner for both functions focusing on areas as Financial Planning and Forecasting, cost and profitability analysis and performance management. You support the monthly review process with financial and operational summaries and fact-based data. You’re a proactive member of the global Sandvik Coromant Business Controller Network and you support the learning culture.
Tasks included in the role are for example:

About you
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance and/or Business Administration and experience in a business, commercial or financial control position. You have a few years of work experience in finance, pricing, market analysis or similar, as well as a proven track record of relevant work experience within an international matrix organization. Experience of managing or working in a sales environment is also desirable. You have strong capabilities in processes, data processing, analysis, and presentation of financial and operational results, together with a general business/industry understanding and basic product knowledge. Din roll

We are looking for a Business Controller who will be reporting to the Group Manager Financial Operations. Dina arbetsuppgifter
Vi söker nu en Business Controller till vårt team på fem personer som arbetar mot Ovako Hofors Hellefors. I rollen som Business Controller kommer du att ha ett nära samarbete och agera stöd till verksamhetens chefer avseende ekonomi och ekonomisk analys. Det innebär att både ta fram rapporter och utmana verksamheten i ex. kostnadsförbättringar och lönsamhetsfrågor. Du kommer även att vara den som tar tag i budget- och investeringsprocesser.

Controllerteamet kommer att ha ett stort fokus på utveckling och förbättring av de gemensamma ekonomiska processerna vilket kan betyda att utveckla system, rutiner och rapportering i enlighet med organisationens och ansvarsområdets behov vad det gäller uppföljning av nyckeltal, produktivitet, kapital och kostnader. Några dagar i månaden sysselsätts du av enhetens periodbokslut, där du är länken mellan redovisningsavdelningen och ledningen.

Din profil
För att du ska passa och trivas i rollen ser vi gärna att du har en akademisk examen inom ekonomi och redovisning och gärna med bakgrund från redovisning för helhetsförståelsen av ekonomiprocessen. Kommer din erfarenhet även från tillverkande industri är det meriterande. Som Controller behöver man vara systemkunnig och en van användare av Excel. För rollen krävs även goda språkkunskaper i svenska och engelska i både tal och skrift.

Your mission
Your main purpose is to contribute to our efforts to reach the overall operational and financial goals for Sandvik Coromant and keep our global stakeholders and networks up to date. You provide the management teams with financial and operational information – enabling them to make the right business-critical decisions. You support the execution of key activities and ensure the performance of the organization. Participating in the development of business strategies and plans, including business performance management, KPI development and implementation, modeling, analysis, and comments on financial implications are important parts of your assignments as well.
Your responsibilities include:
· Follow up on business plans and processes in partnership with various stakeholders and monitor the financial results versus plans.
· Preparation and distribution of all required financial and management reports, including analysis and follow-up on actual results versus budget and prior periods
· Preparing rolling forecasts and ad hoc business plans where you lead the instructions and guidance for local entities ensuring that the process follows compliantly
· Performance management and KPI development
The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden with the possibility of part time remote work.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field combined with knowledge gained from work. You have experience in building, developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high performing professional business control network. You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience working in a matrix environment is a must and we expect an interest in new digital solutions while knowledge of BPC, SAP and Power BI is a plus. Acting in a global setting calls for fluency in English, verbally and in writing.
You act with high integrity and are self-motivated. Your personality truly makes the difference and your ability to deal effectively with internal stakeholders on local, regional and global levels is a valuable asset. At Sandvik Coromant, and our finance organization within the Supply function, we’re responsible for the development and operations of financial and performance management processes – meaning that we drive performance from a financial perspective through analysis, support and active engagement in production management teams.
We’re now looking for a Business Controller to join us along our transformation journey of implementing modern business and financial processes to our Enterprise Business Platform (EBP) Seamless Program - the implementation of SAP at our production units. The program is an important strategic investment for Sandvik Coromant and it’s vital to keep track of the cost, time and performance of the project. A challenging yet very exciting role – if you have the skills and mindset to balance finance, business and IT, in a setting with high organizational visibility and many different stakeholders, then this job might be for you!


About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for project controlling of the EBP Seamless Program and an important link between the project and our users. You ensure that the program is executed according to the approved business case and are the key driver of setting up a structure for the program controlling. You’re a member of the Supply Finance team and report directly to the Finance Director of Supply, and you’re also part of the program PMO reporting to the program manager. You take part in workshops to define requirements, detailed designs and configurations of our finance processes, and then you validate them with our end user community.
Furthermore, you ensure that the implementation of business and financial processes within the IT application area are done according to common requirements and benefit from all possibilities of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, you’re also our business process expert. In this role, you contribute to the program as such, implementing SAP at our production units, with a focus on the business controlling processes. As an important player in the program, you drive the continuous development of these key areas:
Cost follow up for internal and external resources, as well as the follow up of the benefits of the program
Preparing financial forecasts of the program, and reports for management reviews at all levels
Being a sparring partner to the program leader and our project managers

The location for this position is flexible, with a preference for Sandviken or another one of our global production sites, and international travel is normally a natural part of the job.


About you
You have extensive experience in production controlling and accounting or experience in project controlling. You have a broad business background, where you ideally have been working with a mix of finance processes and IT settings. Knowledge of Sandvik’s current Common Business Platforms (CPB) production processes and accounting is a clear advantage, as well as knowledge of ERP software and SAP. You have a relevant academic degree, most likely within Business, Finance or IT. We’re represented worldwide, and this means that you also need to be fluent in both written and verbal English.

Som Business Controller arbetar du med finansiella processer för produktionsenheten vilket innefattar bokslut, prognoser, uppföljning, planering och ekonomisk målstyrning. Arbetsuppgifter
Rollen som Controller kombinerar produktionscontrolling med redovisning, där du stöttar produktionsledningsgrupper inom Primary Products i Sandviken med allt från bokslut och investeringar till kostnads- och lönsamhetsanalyser. Dina arbetsuppgifter innefattar även arbete med budget och prognoser samt uppföljning och utveckling av nyckeltal. I rollen innebär även arbete med produktkalkylering och kostnadsallokering. Att aktivt delta i utvecklingen av verktyg och rapporter är en viktig del av dina ansvarsområden och du stöttar våra projektledare i diverse investeringsprojekt. Din profil
Vi söker dig med en civilekonomexamen inom företagsekonomi eller motsvarande, med minst två års erfarenhet inom produktionsnära controlling alternativt redovisning. Mycket goda kunskaper i Officepaketet, framförallt Excel, är en förutsättning för tjänsten medan kunskaper i och erfarenhet av SAP, M3 och BPC är meriterande. Då vi finns lokalt på plats i Sandviken men arbetar i en global koncern har du också utmärkta kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och i skrift.

Vi lägger stor vikt vid dina personliga egenskaper som utmärks av att du är analytisk och noggrann med ett granskande förhållningssätt. Du har lätt för att skapa struktur ur en stor mängd data och kan omvandla komplexa fakta till visuella budskap som du med hjälp av din goda kommunikationsförmåga förmedlar till aktuella intressenter. Att arbeta med ständiga förbättringar intresserar dig och du är flexibel i ditt sätt att hantera utmaningar. Slutligen är du också en initiativtagare som kan arbeta både självständigt och i team för att uppnå resultat.

About the job
As a Business Controller closely connected to our factory environment, one of your main objectives are to create solid awareness on how our production unit numbers tie into the total Rock Tools results from a global perspective. Naturally, you proactively manage the tasks performed within a regular business control position – such as budgets compared to actuals, forecasts, reports, controls and audits – and you take all figures into account as you look at early indicators, communicate deviations, resolve issues and recommend reliable actions.

You’re also a key player when it comes to understanding our business drivers and establishing clear business control processes. By working closely with our managers, you transfer your financial knowledge and promote an ownership of both numbers and performance. You also help prioritize our resources in the most valuable and optimized way to increase both efficiency and profitability. As part of our production unit management team, you constantly look for improvements and standardized ways of working, and you actively search for development and adaption of our financial tools. On top of this, you drive cost reduction and enhancement projects, support decision-making and give your input in validating the needs for future investment.

About you
We’re looking for an analytical, straightforward and motivated controller with a degree in Business or Economics. You have broad experience from business control and working with budgets, forecasts and results - preferably connected to a factory environment as this enables you to understand our challenges and performance drivers. You also bring advanced skills in modern Excel, and we consider experience from SAP and Power BI as a plus. Your mission

Let’s talk about the job
In this position, you’re responsible for project controlling of the EBP Seamless Program – the implementation of SAP at our production units. The program is an important strategic investment for Sandvik Coromant and it’s vital to keep track of the cost, time and performance of the project. You ensure that the program is executed according to the approved business case and are the key driver of setting up a structure for the program controlling. You’re a member of the Supply Finance team and report directly to the Finance Director of Supply, and you’re also part of the program PMO reporting to the program manager.
As an important player in the program, you drive the continuous development of these key areas:
Cost follow up for internal and external resources, as well as the follow up of the benefits of the program
Preparing financial forecasts of the program, and reports for management reviews at all levels
Being a sparring partner to the program leader and our project managers


In addition to the business controlling tasks, you’re our business process expert. In this role, you contribute in the program as such, implementing SAP at our production units, with focus on the business controlling processes. You actively participate in workshops to define requirements, design, configuration of finance processes and validate these with end users. The goal is to develop the common business platform with end-to-end financial processes with as few local adaptations as possible.

What about your profile
We’re looking for someone with an academic degree in Business, Finance or IT. Alternatively, you may have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience within business controlling or IT. We believe you have solid experience in project controlling/production controlling, and knowledge of SAP is an advantage. A key competence is understanding the connection points between finance and IT, and the ability to interact and discuss with IT developers. As we operate in a global environment, you need excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities
Let’s talk about your mission
As a Business controller, you will support functional managers, service owners and other relevant roles with analytics, advice and tools relating to financial performance. This includes ensuring timely reporting of the consolidated actual performance, forecasts and targets.

As a Business controller, you also review data quality and highlight data discrepancies to the owner/provider of the data as required to drive quality in all processes owned by finance. In cooperation with other important stakeholders, you will support owners with profitability analysis. Support the Sandvik Materials Technology IT performance management process, incl. KPI development and implementation. Also, assist with key contract issues where financial analysis plays a significant role.
Some of your main tasks will be to follow up, analyse, advise and report on actual results, forecasts and targets. This includes projects associated with the stakeholder. You will also perform review and quality assurance of financial data used in all relevant financial processes. Plan and drive the annual planning and forecast process including intra company transactions and control of prices.

You will be a great part of preparing and validating business cases for projects and investment proposals and supporting ROI calculations and related documentation.
Another important part is to provide and enhance tools and routines for a standardized way of working within Business Control and ensure that the correct price is calculated and established for each service, in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
You will also work with improvements in financial processes owned by the finance function.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor of Business. You have some year’s professional experience and detailed knowledge of being part of a finance function. You are a problem solver with ability to drive structured improvements. You are self-organized, structured, have good communication and social skills. You have good Swedish and English skills, verbal and written.
You are passionate about the topic and find it easy to cooperate. You are motivated by responsibility and enjoy solving problems. You should be able to manage multiple stakeholders with different maturity and requirements.

Your challenge
As Lead Business Controller, you contribute to our success by managing the performance development within our Tools Production. You are an active and valued member of our Tools Management team, as well as the Supply Finance team, and by close collaboration, you set strategy and targets, and carry out goal-oriented activities. You have an important role in improving our current financial processes and you are responsible for the common performance process and reports of actual results, short and long-term outlooks, as well as for analysis and proposals of actions to eliminate deviations. Part of your responsibility is also to increase the knowledge within our organization when it comes to the financial effects of business decisions, including understanding of our consolidated business model.

With indirect reports from Sandvik Coromant’s production unit controllers, you support with competence development, best practice sharing and strengthening of our controller network. The location for this position is flexible, with a preference for Sandviken or one of our production sites, and international travel is normally a natural part of the job.

Your profile
We are looking for a dynamic team member with a relevant university degree, or equivalent knowledge obtained from at least five years’ experience from business controlling, including production controlling. Previously holding a leadership position - within direct or indirect management - and working with change initiatives is advantageous. To drive performance from a financial perspective, you need strong business understanding, and experience from the manufacturing industry. You also have knowledge of financial principles, rules and processes - including financial and production accounting - as well as of supporting and improving performance and compliance. As we act on a global stage, you need excellent verbal and written skills in English.
