About the job
In this position, you handle development needs from the business and work together with the team to ensure that the product develops in the desired direction during its life cycle. You set the vision for the product and communicate the vision to the team – this means that you act as the main coordinator between the business and technology team in order to set the proper strategy and vision. The initial focus of this position is to work in the EBP Seamless Production Project and you later transition to line role after implementation of the first template.

Further responsibilities include:
Creating the application product roadmap
Prioritizing the product’s development needs within set budget
Taking ownership and as funnel and filter of the product backlog
Being the primary point of contact in matters relating to the purpose and development of the product
Ensuring that the backlog I populated into adequate detail
Ensuring that the contents of the backlog are understood by the team and cross-functional stakeholders

The location for this position is flexible globally, but you’re preferably based in Europe. Some travelling is also a natural part of the job.

About you
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, as well as someone with prominent leadership capabilities. You have solid experience of working with business and IT experts, architects, solution suppliers and are familiar with SAP production modules, production processes and systems. Having previous experience with agile ways of working and implementing ERP from a business perspective is highly advantageous. You’re familiar with working with global projects as well as change management and have the ability to read and interpret analytical data, information and documents. This role calls for excellent English skills, in both written and verbal form, while knowing other languages are a plus.

What we need from you
You have a solid expertise in Rotating Indexable Products and applications, and you have solid skills & experience in CAM software both as a user, but also as a knowledge facilitator of CAM. Profile

Your mission
As an Application Specialist, you use your curiousness to explore, identify and develop new application areas and develop already existing ones. Produktenheten Olja & Gas Sandviken (PU OGS) består av ca 140 medarbetare varav ca 20 st är inhyrda som ansvarar för den kalla processen av rörtillverkning inom Rörverk 60 och Rörverk 63. Verksamheten baseras på projektorder och förståelse för processer och produkter är central. Både vi och våra kunder ställer mycket höga krav på våra produkters kvalitet och egenskaper samt på en effektiv och säker tillverkning. Prognoserna ser väldigt bra ut för olja & gas de närmste åren. En utmaning är att effektivisera produktionen för att höja lönsamheten. Våra investeringsanslag måste förvaltas på bästa sätt. För att stärka vår produktion och fortsätta leverera enligt kundkraven söker vi nu en teknikutvecklare till oss på OGS. Det här är en väldigt spännande roll för den tekniskt intresserade. Du kommer att ha stora möjligheter att driva utveckling. Samtidigt finns alla möjligheter till personlig utveckling då du kommer att arbeta i ett nätverk med både interna och externa specialister.
 
Arbetsuppgifter
·       Ta fram investeringsplaner med avseende på höjd säkerhet, produktivitet och kvalité.
·       Ansvara för investeringsbudgeten och vara med och genomföra olika investeringar. 
·       Ansvara för den maskintekniska utvecklingen på OGS.
·       Omvärldsbevaka teknikutvecklingen för att veta vad som sker vad gäller t ex robotisering och automatisering.
·       Deltaga i OGS produktionsledningsgrupp.


Din profil
Vi söker dig med en teknisk/mekanisk utbildning, alternativt förvärvat motsvarande kunskaper och erfarenheter genom flera års arbete inom tillverkningsindustrin. Vi ser även att du har tidigare erfarenhet av investeringar och utveckling av befintliga utrustningar. Att dessutom ha bakgrund inom digitalisering och automatisering är högt meriterande. Vi ser att du har goda kunskaper i Microsoft Office likväl som dina kunskaper i svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift.


Vi lägger stor vikt vid dina personliga egenskaper, som utmärks av att du brinner för utveckling och förbättring. Du är en kommunikativ person vill samarbeta med andra personer i ditt arbete. I detta jobb innebär samarbete över produktion, kvalité, processutveckling, externa leverantörer och interna tekniska specialister m.m. Du är stresstålig, nyfiken och tar initiativ till förbättring av våra processer.
