The Mechanical Manager will oversee a team of Mechanical Supervisors and Sub Contractors as they carry out Mechanical installation within a large Mechanical system and ensure the project program is kept. The Mechanical Manager must be effective at motivating their team, as well as giving a frank but constructive assessment of the work done.
Reporting to: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Management of site Quality Assurance in conjunction with the QA Manager.
Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with the Project Team
Ensure the labor requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
Ensuring the quality of the works is maintained at a high level.
Management of Sub Contractors activities and progress against the schedule & manpower trackers.
Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to Project Management.
Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
Ensuring all delivered materials are coordinated and stored in a safe and secure manner.
Assistance with the close out of all project items including O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Materials- all with the support of the site Project Manager


Skills, qualification & experience:
Relevant Mechanical Qualification essential eg. B. Eng Degree, City & Guilds Certificate, HNC / BTEC or NVQ
5 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is essential
Data Center experience is advantageous
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills

The Authorised Person will oversee a team of Electrical Engineers and Supervisors as they carry out Electrical Works and ensure the project programme is kept. The Lead Appointed Person must be effective at motivating their team, as well as giving a frank but constructive assessment of the work done.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Engages from early in the project with Site Management team with the agreed Electrical Safe Systems of Work Procedure under the instruction from the Lead Appointed Person
· Ensures all Workplace personnel are aware of and are complying with the Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
· Issues and controls Permits for all Energised working activities under scope of work.
· To review and understand project specifications and drawings fully and extract the project specific requirements.
· Follow Strict Operational Procedures and Adhere to High Voltage Safety Rules.
· Completes Safety documents and lock out/tag out procedures and philosophies.
· Carry out review of Switchgear Distribution Topology and Controls prior to start-up.
· Liaise with Control System providers (Scada/BMS/EMS etc.) in the development of the system handover under permit control schedule and protocols.
· Ensure all pre- and post-energisation testing & commissioning tagging activities are witnessed by required parties and signed off as accepted.
· Identifying and ensuring all the correct test equipment is available and calibrated for use
Necessary Requirements:
Relevant 3rd level certificates in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experience
Minimum of 5+ Years’ experience in a similar role within an electrical contracting environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects.
Experience of working on MV/HV systems. ‘Authorised Person or Appointed Person’ experience.
Electrical Testing & Verification with min 3 years’ experience.
Construction experience / understanding required. Safety experience.

The Document Controller will oversee the complete documentation management for the construction of Data Centres.
Reporting to: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
· Populate document register, request for information register, action log, issue log and other project control tools as appropriate.
· Generate and issue periodic status/overdue reports related to project documents, project actions, issues and other project related information.
· Ensure appropriate issuance and storage of documents in accordance with the project document control procedure.
· Interface with external document suppliers, i.e. external Consultants and Contractors and ensure their compliance with project document control procedure as set by the Client.
· Support the implementation of project Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Health and Safety process, procedures and activities by participating in internal and externals audits.

Identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.
Review, validate and audit cost estimates prepared by sub contractors and others within a client’s organization.
Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.
Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project.
Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, retention payments.
Oversee and manage the transfer of the construction to the client including all close out documentation and warranties


Skills, qualification & experience:
10 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is essential
