Your mission
In this role, you’re orchestrating our solution design with our organizational boundaries in mind – taking lead in a team of solution architects and working closely with End-to-End process owners, enterprise architects, industry experts, vendors, and other important stakeholders. Working towards many different areas such as sales, marketing, finance and logistics, you ensure that our business requirements and strategies are successfully translated into new IT solutions. In addition, you provide technical guidance in the design and implementation. Being responsible for our Finance process, you support our target architecture work and make sure it runs smoothly by working together with the business – making roadmaps and prioritizations.
To ensure successful implementation of new solutions, you collaborate with the project teams and confirm that the systems are completely evolved and delivered as finished and maintainable. By reviewing our current technology architecture landscape, you seek ways to leverage, improve and extend corporate technology investments. You also conduct research on new and emerging technology to apply in business problems and strategic initiatives in the context of assigned work efforts.
We offer flexible working conditions, and your choice of base is either at one of our Swedish sites in Sandviken or Stockholm, or at our Finnish site in Tampere. You report to the IT Delivery Manager for Finance within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions.

Your character
We’re looking for?a senior Solution Architect with experience in finance and a track record within the manufacturing or producing industry where you’ve gained an understanding of the relevant workflows and business processes. You have good stakeholder management skills and are used to working with ERP systems, you have an understanding of the SAP platform, and it is advantageous if you have experience with SAP S/4HANA. Your experience is backed by a relevant degree, or the equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. As we operate on the global stage, you must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

The department of Network Services, part of Enterprise Services within Sandvik IT, is responsible for all global network service delivery within the group. This includes accountability in the areas of design, development and operations. We’re now looking for a Service Manager to join our team and our digital arena. Being a key player in driving a modern workplace, you work close to our business and truly make a difference by handling challenges with a problem-solving attitude and building relationships based on trust.
Your mission
As Service Manager, you execute local and global IT projects and ensure delivery of IT in terms of infrastructure, applications and databases within your designated area. Your goal is to understand the customer´s needs in every situation and to translate it to fit the vision of the department. To achieve this goal, you coordinate all activities connected to our infrastructure solutions, which includes managing IT supply and available resources both internally and externally. You’re also accountable for the delivery of our services and maintaining IT performance indicators, and you follow up on delivery precision related to services, SLA’s, system operations and different projects.
This position is located in Sandviken or Stockholm (Kista), with presence in Sandviken required on a weekly basis.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience from IT infrastructure and from managing IT delivery in a complex business setting, in combination with a relevant degree. You’re used to managing both projects and subcontractors with confidence and a humble approach. Fluency in both written and verbal English is also a necessity in this role.
You're experienced in overseeing roll-outs of policies, procedures and infrastructure to reach compliance goals set forth by governments and other agencies. It is also beneficial to have a good understanding of the technology that builds our services, which enables you to communicate the low-level functions in a high-level setting. Being perceptive and understanding, you easily create a trusting environment for collaboration. Furthermore, you inspire others with your business mind, result focus and strong customer management skills.
