About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for the reporting and analytical needs within your area as well as to:
Create, distribute, and maintain business information
Understand & manage stakeholders, requirements and demands within the area of responsibility
Develop reports and provide self-service BI where required
Coordinate the execution of the back-end activities to ensure data availability with internal and external colleagues

You find ways to increase business value by introducing efficient solutions to enable the organization to perform qualitative analysis, retrieve insights, as well as to support the process of making informed and fact-based decisions. You accomplish this by partnering with the business in identifying, analyzing, and responding to business opportunities. You serve as a liaison between the analytics team, stakeholders and IT to promote projects and support global initiatives for developing new IT demands and solutions to support the needs of the finance organization. You easily collaborate with your team colleagues and take responsibility to achieve the desired outcome.
The location for this position is flexible, but ideally within the US or Europe where most stakeholders are. Locations outside of Europe will be considered depending on the candidate’s profile and experience.


About you
We’re looking for someone who holds a degree in Economics, IT, Statistics, Engineering or Mathematics with several years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and BI. Since we act in a global environment, you need to be proficient in written and verbal English.
Very good understanding of finance processes
Good understanding of SAP data and processes for finance is a big advantage
Advanced user in Power BI and associated coding solutions (Power Query, M and DAX)
Experience in data modeling
Experience in requirements management and stakeholder management
Good general understanding of relational databases such as and ORACLE and their respective languages, data cubes and analysis services,
Knowledge in services such as Power Automate for creating and maintaining automated workflows.
Experience with DataBricks and/or Azure Synapse service is a plus as well as familiarity with obtaining data via SAP Business Warehouse and Azure.
Knowledge and experience with processes and procedures relating to Sandvik Coromant Finance is highly desired.

Job Summary
As an M&A analyst, you will support colleagues across the division to identify targets in line with our strategy. You will take responsibility for the preparation of the business case, analysing the suitability of the identified target and fit to the Tube Division strategy through to assisting the division team in deal execution. This involves coordination with a number of key stakeholders, including presenting to executive management. You will secure our M&A pipeline, constantly updating the status of key targets and our M&A activity with them.

Extensive global travel to project sites and acquisition targets will be an expected part of the role. The location of this role will be flexible, though we have a preference to be Asia based

Your main responsible includes:
· Gathering available information on a target company using public sources and key financial resources

· Creating financial valuations utilising a number of models, and evaluating in an industry context

· Supporting the preparation of business cases at each stage of our M&A evaluation

· Support business management in the execution of the deal

· Identify resources required for successful post acquisition integration

· Assis the wider strategy team with key business intelligence as required

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master’s degree in finance related subject or relevant on the job experience, as well as a proven track record from a relevant industry. Ability to communicate effectively and present compelling business case to key stakeholders; Analytical mindset to identify opportunities fitting with our strategy; Critical financial analysis tools including valuation models; Capability of working in a matrix organisation in a complex global environment; Creativity & flexibility; Strategic thinking; Planning and organizing; Fluent in English.
