Your mission
In this position, you’re an important member of the Rock Tools management team, and you’re responsible for accelerating growth by aggressively increasing our market share and staying two steps ahead of our competition. With your business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset and technical knowledge, you and your team build the foundation for a long-term sustainable business.
Your main focus ahead lies in:
Further strengthening and positioning our product portfolio.
Driving growth, both within Rotary & Raise Boring and our total Surface Mining offering.
Driving quality and cost efficiency in collaboration with our production.
Further build and strengthen the Rotary & Raise Boring product management team and related capabilities in our Sales Areas.
You drive improvements and make things happen – taking the lead in enhancing our existing offering, staying updated with the market and generating new and strategic business opportunities. Having a strong set of leadership skills, you manage and motivate your team of product managers and application specialists to always perform at their best. In addition, you collaborate closely with our sales areas across the globe – as well as other key stakeholders both within and outside of our global Rock Tools organization (including R&D, Production, and Global Account Managers).
This is a temporary assignment for 6-12 months. You report to the President of Rock Tools and are located at our Rock Tools head office in Sandviken. Global travel is included as a natural part of your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a master’s in business administration or engineering, combined with experience from an extensive working career within sales, product management or R&D – preferably within the mining or construction industries. You have solid leadership skills and a background from managing people and driving change in a diverse and global organization. Your business-minded approach and commercial outlook is of most value to us, and this also enables you to be a true role model for our organization and to successfully execute our strategies. This position calls for fluency in English.
You’re a true enabler – someone who identifies opportunities, executes plans and builds a profitable culture. You have excellent communication skills and with your drive and energy, you inspire high performance and create outstanding collaborations across our organization. You also encourage people around you through empowering, influential and credible leadership.
