We are pleased to announce we are seeking an experienced H&S Manager for a large data centre project in Sandviken, Sweden.
Oversee that projects comply with Winthrop Safety Management system.
Develop construction stage plans.
Carry out H&S reporting and analysis of various metrics.
Keep the senior management appraise of H&S department work progress.
Ensure compliance to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation.
Ensure compliance to Winthrop Technologies PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety Plans.
Oversee and support the development of method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, and H&S permits to work.
Oversee compliance with the project execution plans.
Ensure that good safety practices are managed & maintained across the group.
Oversee ongoing C.O.S.H.H assessments and control of hazardous substances.
Ensure that safety interventions are completed & registered.
Carry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actions.
Maintain records of statutory inspections and ensure adequate documentation is available for the same.
Adopt a proactive approach to project EHS requirements.
Ensure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & procedures.
Ensure that Winthrop Technologies induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintained.
Ensure that project PPE is resourced & available.
Assist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to Winthrop Technologies project management team.



Qualifications
Experience in large scale construction projects is required.
Relevant third level degree qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
8+ years' experience of managing environmental, health and safety on large construction sites.
Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation
Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site.
Strong communication & computer skills, as well as ability to maintain reporting databases and associated documentation.
Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Visa mindre

Responsibilities including but not limited to
Being responsible for the overall energy isolation program
Management at the site for MEP energy.
Accountability to ensure all activities related to the energy
ISolation process is coordinated and executed across the assigned location(s) according to established
Policies and procedures


• Ensure safe working conditions have been established by reviewing documentation (including
procedures, job hazard analysis, and permits) and auditing the energy program for
construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations activities.
• Work with construction and commissioning teams to ensure safe working conditions to
properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems.
• Support the management of the electrical infrastructures throughout the datacenter campus
ranging from a single large capacity facility to several smaller ones.
• Partner closely with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to drive Operational Excellence
in all aspects of the Control of Hazardous Energy
• Training new and existing employees in defined Energy Isolation process and procedure
• Management of permits/LOTOS and chairing weekly meetings with vendors and the client.

Reports to: Project Lead

Responsibilities
· Manage and coordinate the Winthrop design engineers, BIM teams, external design consultants, subcontractors and vendors to support the project as required by Electrical Project Lead.
· Coordinate with the client's design team for the project build and site wide design and services
· Coordinate the Winthrop design teams and external design consultants ensuring the design development is on program to allow construction to progress.
· Plan and lead design & engineering workshops with in house and external discipline engineers to resolve any issues and ensure progressed ahead of site activities.
· Manage the Technical submittal (TS) process ensuring the specification is adhered too and TS are submitted in a timely manner to allow the Design team review, comment and follow up.
· Manage the technical review and coordination of subcontractor drawing and technical submissions with other packages
· Manage the design query process. Lead weekly workshops on RFI's and technical submissions with the Consultant and Client Team to ensure timely resolution of queries raised with any changes to be raised to change management.
· Manage IFC releases and updates ensuring coordination with the design team and Winthrop engineers ensuring they are fully up to date with current designs, changes to be raised to change management as required.
· Lead weekly Design/Engineering meetings with internal and external teams to review engineering plan/progress, expedite/escalate any urgent items.
· Populate a design risk register ensuring Winthrop senior management and the client are aware of all potential upcoming risk to the program
· Manage the design and submittal process for the any contractor delegated design elements for on time completion, procurement and delivery.
· Report design & engineering progress in weekly client meetings highlighting any concerns/risks to the project.
· Coordinate contractor construction drawing and models ensuring drawings are cut and approved in time for construction to proceed on program
· Support the site teams on technical challenges & queries.
· Manage contractors as built drawing and model ensuring timely submissions as per the project requirements and planned handover.
· Ensure contractors are submitting all required documentation, O&M manuals and uploading to the approved client platforms.
· Support the LEED requirements for the project as they relate to the Electrical packages.
· Ensure QA procedures are implemented on site, liaise with TWD and client PSDA management on Temporary works requirements / traffic management designs and design risk assessments as per the project requirements.
· Support the project QA/QC team on technical aspects e.g. responding and closing out NCR's, RCA's and advising on requirements of the project specifications and local/international standards.
· Generate monthly design & engineering progress reports and liaise with the Electrical Lead.
Skills, qualification & experience:
· 7+ years' experience in the delivery of large-scale projects, preferably data centres, etc
· Data centre experience would be advantageous
· Electrical Engineering Degree
· Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills

· Populate document register, request for information register, action log, issue log and other project control tools as appropriate.
· Analyse, interpret and summarise the status of various registers and logs.
· Generate and issue periodic status/overdue reports related to project documents, project actions, issues and other project related information.
· Ensure appropriate issuance and storage of documents in accordance with the project document control procedure.
· Interface with external document suppliers, i.e. external Consultants and Contractors and ensure their compliance with project document control procedure as set by the Client.
· Support the implementation of project Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Health and Safety process, procedures and activities by participating in internal and externals audits.

Skills, qualification & experience:
· Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar site-based role
· High level of verbal and written English is essential

Mechanical Construction Manager
Reporting to: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Manage relevant client communications
Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities and complete all HVAC deliverables within project and safety criteria
Communicate with project team to sequence installation of pipework to meet scheduled dates
Assess and manage the project commercially to validate the project on handover from estimating, and proceed through to full technical procurement of all equipment, specialist sub-contractors and suppliers
Assist with documenting and costing of changes to the work scopes and preparation of the monthly valuations and final account
Management of Project Schedule two weeks look ahead in conjunction with the Project Team
Ensure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements
Ensure that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including:
Health & Safety issues on site and ensuring that all Sub Contractors are working in a safe manner.
Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.
Ensure housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors.


Skills, qualification & experience:
Relevant Mechanical Qualification essential eg. B. Eng Degree, City & Guilds Certificate, HNC / BTEC or NVQ
5 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is essential
Data Center experience is advantageous
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
