We’re now looking for a Sourcing Leader for direct or indirect purchasing; someone who’s intrigued by the idea of creating development and continuous improvement at our largest production unit by challenging the status quo! Your mission – promote and execute successful initiatives within direct or indirect sourcing to meet customer and business expectations In this position, you’re responsible for taking an active part in creating and managing the best, and most efficient, sourcing execution as possible to meet our defined targets and needs. You achieve this by working in close cooperation both with our global sourcing team and locally with your colleagues within the Production Unit (PU) in Sandviken. This includes establishing and maintaining successful relationships with Product Line and R&D to transform our needs to our suppliers and developing local sourcing strategies and implementing plans to meet customer demands. You lead, and participate in, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities and you take account for creating, negotiating, implementing and following up on contracts for our suppliers – as well as for identifying and qualifying new suppliers and replenishment solutions. In collaboration with your colleagues, you ensure a professional sourcing performance and reach targets set by the Rock Tools Sourcing Manager.This position is located in Sandviken and travel is a natural part of the job. Your character We’re looking for someone who’s curious, self-motivated and persistent enough to make things happen. Driving change and developing both yourself and the organization really excites you, and by being mature and humble, you question the way things are done and create effective results in a manner that makes everyone feel involved and engaged in the change. With your solid experience from working with sourcing in a matrix, global organization, you easily establish well-functioning relationships across borders – both locally and on the global stage. You have a proven track record from change management and strategic sourcing within the field of direct or indirect purchasing, in combination with experience from managing both cross-functional teams and complex products and services. You have a degree within a technical field or in industrial economics, or the equivalent knowledge gained from working. Since we act both locally and on a global arena, you have good skills in English and Swedish – both written and verbally.
