In Sandviken and Forsbacka IPCO produces steel belts for customers endless continual use in process machinery producing food such as bread and chocolate, chemical films and pastilles, and wood fiber boards such as MDF and flooring. The production of steel belts is made in our own designed machinery and processes for our purpose and reaching the specific high demand for quality and productivity belts. Manufactuing processes involve levelling, welding, heat treatment, machining, grinding. During manufacturing, key characteristics are set into products that are crucial for continuous performance at customer site.
About the role
As a Quality Engineer you will take on a key role in IPCO’s quality and customer care operations. You will manage customer cases and claims, coordinate interventions, and drive and secure corrective and preventive actions that ensure long-term improvements. The position involves close collaboration with production, global service, R&D, material lab and sales, to make sure that our processes and products consistently exceed expectations. A crucial part of the role is also maintaining and developing our ISO certification, safeguarding IPCO’s high standards in demanding global markets. As a team member, you are also a part of other work tasks within safety, work environment, quality, sustainability and environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Manage customer complaints from receipt through to resolution.
Conduct root cause analysis with organization and implement structured corrective and preventive actions according to quality methods such as DMAIC, 8D, 4Q, etc.
Collaborate with production, global service, R&D, material lab and sales organization to integrate quality into every stage of the value chain.
Monitor and analyze quality data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvements.
Provide training and guidance to colleagues to strengthen quality awareness and performance across the organization.
Prepare quality reports and maintain documentation in line with corporate standards.
Participate in internal and external audits to secure compliance according to ISO standards.


Your Profile
You have a technical degree or equivalent engineering background and bring solid experience in quality management from an industrial or manufacturing environment. You know how to work with established quality tools and methods such as DMAIC, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and you have hands-on experience of management systems and standards, especially ISO 9001.

Additional requirements include:
Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
A valid driver’s license (B).
Ability to travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, it is considered meritorious if you bring experience or knowledge into the following areas:
Machine design and mechanical construction.
Materials science and material properties.
Measurement technology and calibration.
ERP system M3, SharePoint.
Proficiency in German, spoken and written.

About the Job

As a production manager, your responsibilities lie in evolving production in our factories with a keen eye for business acumen and a commitment to quality. Safety and risk management is your highest priority. In this position, you have the opportunity to take the lead in developing a production line that is sustainable, efficient, and competitive through training, learning, and operational excellence by utilizing the skills of your team and available technology, IT, and AI.

About You:

For this role, we're looking for someone with a civil engineering degree or equivalent education and preferably a background in technical production within process-oriented organizations. Experience in work management in a production environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team are required. You should be well-versed in production capacity planning and resource allocation. You can analyze and improve production processes to maximize efficiency and cut costs. Another essential part of the role is a good understanding of quality control and safety standards, as it's our top priority. Your toolbox should include knowledge and experience managing improvement work, LEAN, and business systems. Our company requires fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken.

About the Job

As a Strategic Purchaser at IPCO, you will be responsible for negotiating timely and high-quality business deals that align with the operation's needs. Your main task will be to secure cost-effective agreements with the most suitable suppliers in the global market to strengthen our competitive advantages. Your successful handling of this role is essential to ensuring that production has access to the materials and components required for manufacturing and enables us to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

In our development-oriented environment, we are making significant investments to meet market demands, including in new fields such as medicine, energy, and electronics, and within existing product areas. As a key player, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual aspects in our Capex/Investments. You will oversee our strategic procurement process concerning contracts/agreements for production materials, supplies, services/consultants, and investments.

You will be responsible for finding and analyzing multiple suppliers to identify the most suitable, high-quality, cost-effective business solutions. Safety is our top priority, and we prioritize sustainability when selecting suppliers. You will communicate with production, product management, administration, product design, and development teams to ensure that procurement needs are thoroughly analyzed and agreements executed through proper follow-up operations. As the supplier-responsible, you must ensure that our suppliers meet our expectations regarding;

As the overseer of the procurement process, you will play a crucial role in daily operations, investments, and development projects. Your primary responsibility will be to improve the structure and methodology of the procurement process. Daily hands-on work related to the operative flow will also be a natural part of work. Any discrepancies that arise should be promptly addressed and resolved by you.

About You

We are seeking candidates with a degree in procurement or economics or equivalent education or work experience for the position. It would be advantageous if you have experience working with different business and management systems and have held a similar position as a strategic purchaser in the manufacturing industry. You must be proficient in both written and spoken Swedish, as well as English, which is our official corporate language.

You are used to working and making decisions independently and passionate about building good relationships and collaborating with others, within and outside the organization. You will play a crucial role in purchase and procurement activities with other suppliers, which requires a professional approach. Your strong communication skills and collaborative procedure enable you to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal departments. You approach work methodically and proactively, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. To succeed in this role, you need to focus and prioritize tasks effectively, especially in high-pressure situations.
