We’re shaping a new Product Area within the cybersecurity field, specifically tackling one of the most critical aspects – managing identities. You’ll be part of our Identity Fabric product area, which delivers comprehensive identity management solutions through three key product teams: Identity Products, Identity Operations, and Directory Services. These teams work together to provide the tools necessary for managing and securing digital identities across the Sandvik Group. About your job
As the Competence Manager for our Identity Fabric, you work closely with other Competence Managers within Cybersecurity – improving our people processes and strengthen the Cybersecurity team. You play a key strategic and managerial role across all three product teams. You drive talent and workforce strategies, overseeing the entire employee journey from recruitment and onboarding to career development, motivation, and retention. You ensure a seamless collaboration within the delivery organization, addressing various aspects such as work environment, health, well-being, capacity management, and performance. You actively engage in forums for collaboration, escalation, and decision-making related to work environment, staff well-being, capacity management, and other relevant people management topics specific to the product area Identity Fabric. Together with your team, you navigate both the daily demands and long-term strategic goals, which means there’s always something new to learn and solve together.
Further responsibilities include:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current and future competence needs and business priorities.
Leading strategic workforce planning for short- and long-term needs.
Assessing team health to ensure the team has the right prerequisites for success.
Enabling skills development in the team and supporting personnel during changes.
Driving recruitment in collaboration with the team(s) and HR.

You’re part of both the Identity Fabric Management Team and the Cybersecurity Product Line Management Team, with your primary location in Sandviken or Stockholm. As employees and coworkers are present at both our offices, your presence is regularly required at both locations. We apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong background in people and change management – leading teams through transitions and creating structured and efficient workflows to drive success. Through coaching, professional development and continuous follow-up, you ensure the teams have the right capacity and skillset to achieve their goals. Additionally, you maintain a focus on collaboration and you’re not afraid to challenge others when necessary, always with the aim of driving positive change and fostering growth. Technical interest and an understanding of Cybersecurity are considered a plus. Your knowledge should be backed by a relevant education, or equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. As we’re a global organization, fluency in English is required, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

We’re now looking for a Packaging Development Manager to join our Rock Tools division. Your mission
Ensuring innovation, quality and safety, you lead the development of packaging solutions and labelling for Rock Tools’ whole product range – from small drill bits to big rods and hammers. With deep knowledge from the packaging industry, you take responsibility for the whole process – from choosing materials and suppliers to developing manufacturing processes and how the final delivery is made. We’re ambitiously taking our global responsibility and making the shift towards more sustainable solutions and you’re a key in making this happen for your area. You work cross-functionally and independently across the organization, managing and aligning expectations from production, product line, sales and marketing – as well as setting your own requirements towards your stakeholders and taking lead in development projects. You also manage external contacts and touch points such as suppliers and end-customers.
Most of the staff in the Rock Tools division in Sweden are located in Sandviken and we prefer that you are located in Sandviken or in Sandviken on a regular basis. Some international travel is naturally included during normal circumstances.
And what about you?
With a university degree in a relevant field and a strong background of at least seven years in the packaging industry, supply chain and logistics/production, you’ve built your professional confidence – perhaps as a senior development engineer. You mix a broad technical knowledge with a commercial outlook and you’re not afraid to drive change and try new ways of doing things. A background of working in international organizations, especially within manufacturing is naturally beneficial, as is knowledge about sustainability and circular materials. On top of this, we believe that you have experience from driving large scale development projects and from supplier and customer management. As we work on a global stage, good English skills are important while Swedish is a plus.

You’re self-driven and creative, while also having an analytical engineering mindset – allowing you to come up with innovative solutions and independently bring them to life. We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field of studies and several years’ experience from working in managerial positions, and across functions such as product management, product development, R&D, sales or production. You have senior leadership experience and a solid background from managing people in a complex and global organization. You also have strong knowledge of the machining industry in which we operate, and this enables you to be a true role model for our organization and to successfully execute our strategies. A proven track record from driving change and transformation programs is valuable to succeed in this position. As we are a truly global company, advanced English skills is a requirement, and knowledge of other languages is beneficial.
